This was the first time that students had to lessons in one day. First, Teacher Roxan did the warm up playind a die game in which she separated students in two teams. One was the police's team and the other one was the chef's team. Students had to throw the die and according with the numbers they were moving on the numbers on the board. They really like this game. When students had a number it was a picture of one professions, and they had to say the name of the profession. Second, Teacher Xiomara started with the pre-listening stage. She gave the vocabulary that they had to use in the during. She gave real examples , and she made students repeat the pronunciation as many times were possible.
Third, For the during stage teacher gave students a worksheet and the instructions for the activity. Teacher Adriana played the audio that she and teacher Xiomara recording . This was a nice technique , and also it was the first time in which the during stage was not affected by the audio. Students listened it one time, and they did the workssheet. They listened a second time to check their answers, and teacher checked the answers with them.
Finally, for the post-listening teachers asked students to stand up . She gave students a profession flashcard that they had to match with the place of the work of the differents professions. Also, teacher asked students to say the name of the place and profession. To conclude, for the wrap up , teacher Gabriela. R divided the class in two teams , and she put one desk in front of the different teams. Students had to take a spoon in their lips with a chocolate ball, and put it in the box that was on the desk. Students liked this activity, and also i really like the activities that they did it during the whole lesson.
