The classroom was ready for the classes, and teachers were preparing the materials. First, Teacher Charlie divided the class in 2 teams. T. Charlie showed pupils a flashcards , and students had to touch the bell to say the name of the school objects. Then, T. asked pupils to show him a pencil, they were motivated, and they showed him quickly.Teacher took school objects from the student's desks, and he made them repeat the name of the word.  He gave real examples such as , Miguel's pencil, Enrique's eraser , and if the students participate, he gave them a sticker. They really wanted to give their objects to teacher to made examples with their school objects.

Second, T. Charlie asked T. Guillermo to help him, They presented the possessives. To illustrate, Is this your_____? and they had to answer Yes, it is, or Not, it is not. I really appreciate that you used real examples taking their school objects into account. T. Charlie showed the plural way givin the structure, Are these your____? and they had to answer Yes, they are , or Not, they are not. He asked students what were the answer for the two structures , and he paste it on the board. Teacher gave another sticker to students.

Third, T. Guillermo gave learners a worksheet. They monitored the activity. Students had to complete the worksheet  and later , they had to paste a picture of one word  and write their answer. Finally, T. Charlie  gave a page in which students had to draw the teacher and paste the picture on the board. T review the possessives with the picture asking if it was their picture, and students had to answer yes or not. Teacher gave a prize to everybody. To conclude, I really enjoyed the presentation, the real examples that Teacher Charlie provided students . Also, I like the activity to gave students a prize (stickers)

Teacher's name:
Roxana Díaz
Gabriela Rodriguez

Skill: Vocabulary
Framework: PPP

Topic: School Objects.

At last we changed the unit, and this was Unit #3 "School Objects " The students had the name tags when they come to the classroom. First, T. Roxan gave pupils a test for the previous unit, and she gave the instructions . They did the first part quickly, but the second one they could not write the name of the animals. Teachers were monitoring the quiz. Second, T Gaby gave a chart with 4 animals for the "Bingo Activity" she gave the instructions, and they started to play. Teacher Gaby took a paper out from a box with a picture of an animal, and learners had to mark the animal. One students won the game; they really enjoy this activity,

Third, Teacher Roxan presented the vocabulary, and she gave the pronunciation. It was a good presentation because during the explanation, she was recycling the vocabulary that was back pag, desk, pencil, eraser, ruler, board, markers and scissors. T Roxan took from a box the labels giving them to children, and she asked pupils for the name.

Finally, T. Gaby gave pupils a worksheet, but she asked two students to read the instructions. In the activity they had to circle objects that they used at school. Teachers gave the instructions again, and they monitored the activity checking the answers.

To conclude, Learners played a "pass the ball game" Teacher Roxan gave a label to the student who had the ball when teacher Gaby said stop, and he had to match it with the picture on the board. I like the way in which teachers recycled the vocabulary in whole the lesson, and how students were paying attention in the activities.

Wild Animals (Reading)

Date: September 22nd, 2016

Teacher's name:
Adriana Vargas
Xiomara Torres

Skill: Reading
Framework: PDP

Topic: Wild Animals.

This was a nice lesson because it was developed in a entertainment way.First, T checked the attendance and T. Xiomara gave students the name tags. For the warm up T. Xiomara made pairs, and she gave the instructions of the puzzle game, but at the same time teachers presented a chart in which students had to achieve happy faces to win a prize at the end of the lesson. For that reason, they were motivated to win happy faces. Teachers were monitoring the activities. T. asked pairs to say the animal that they had in the puzzle game.if they said correctly, they achieved a happy face.

Second, T. Adriana presented the vocabulary , and she asked students to repeat after her. T gave real examples of the vocabulary;as a result, they understood the vocabulary. T. Adriana asked students to repeat the word after her, but they did not allow her to finish the words because they wanted to win happy face. T. Adriana asked T. Xiomara a number , and the pupil who said the number could to the board and touch the picture of the word mentioned. Third, Teacher gave students a worksheet. After, she explained the activity that they had to read the text first, but they did the worksheet because they wanted to win happy faces. Then, T. Xiomara gave the instructions fot the second activity, and they already had it. Teacher checked the answers.

Finally, T gave learners a worksheet and the instructions. Pupils had to complete the matching activity. They finished, but teacher did not check the answers. T. asked students to sit down on the floor. They had to complete a chart with missing words, and they had to join it with the picture on the board.

To conclude, T. made a circle to play a "bottle game" T. explained the game, and pupils had to take a picture of the box and say the name of the vocabulary picture. I really like the way in which teachers develop the lesson, and the activity of the chart was an excellent idea to get student's attention.

Wild Animals

Date: September 20, 2016

Teacher´s name:
Maria José López
Mariana Fagoaga

Skill: Listening
Framework: PDP

Topic: Wild Animals

This was my first time performing a lesson with children and teaching listening. To start with, I checked the attendance while T. Maria José was giving the name tags to children. Then, I started with the warm up in which pupils had to made a horizontal line to play "Teacher said" I said the name of an animal and they had to touch the animal that was paste on the board. This activity was a little bit uncontrolled because pupils were hyperactive during the lesson.

Second,I performed the presentation stage giving the words that we would use in the during listening stage to children. I presented 9 words like can, saw, wanted, walking, run,etc.... I made students repeat after me, and they were able to pronounce them in a correctly way. After, T. Maria José moved the flashcards on the board to play a matching game, but I realized in the moment that maybe they would not be able to did it.For that reason, I said that I would say a word and they had to touch the picture. They really clarified their doubts of the vocabulary in that moment, and I checked their comprehension .

Third, for the during we had some problems with the CD-player because it did not accept the flash driver thereby I read it louder for the children, but before it T. Maria José gave students a worksheet in which pupils had to order the event in the first part, and in the second one they had to color the animals that appeared in the story. This was a challenging moment because it was too difficult read the story and made students get the idea of the listening practice, but at the end it worked. At the end, T. Maria José checked the answers.

Finally, T. Maria José divided the class in two teams ,and she gave each group a fly swatter. T. gave the instructions in which learners had to slap the picture of the word that teacher would say and say the name of the word. If a student did not achieve it had to answer a question about the story. It was an interesting activity because in spite of students were so hyperactive they did it.Then, for the lack of time we could not perform the wrap up activity.

To conclude, I really enjoy the lesson notwithstanding of children behavior. I learned a lot of techniques to catch students attention. I think that it was a good lesson , and students enjoyed it.
